What is the ARO Communications Portal?

The ARO Communications Portal is administered by Ms. Kelly Dehn, National Executive Director, and our staff at Abuse Refuge Org.

The ARO Communications Portal provides access to everyone and the important role ARO plays in ensuring a productive life in the Abuse Community for everyone.

Our Professional Staff (Clinicians, Doctors, Counselors, etc.) will be brought on in the very near future to begin its tasks of providing the best “One on One” online critiques, assessments, diagnosis and treatments available. Stay connected and up-to-date for more information as this service comes online.

Our Interns, through this portal, will gain practical experience through projects, special assignments, or research that support federal, state, and community-based programs, policies, and best practices in the understanding prevention and treatment of Narcissistic, Physical, Financial, Psychological, Sexual and Self Abuses.  Visit our Intern Signup Page for more information.

Our missions is to grant access to all Victims of Abuse, the General Public, all Business Enterprises, domestic and foreign Government Entities and any curious parties are all invited to join in on any open communications.

By 2021, the Abuse Sector will surpass behavioral health disorders and all physical diseases as a major cause of malady worldwide. The ARO Communications Portal is the nexus to a highly competent and how we will be able to reduce the community impact of abuse(s) through a variety of fields:

Employment Diversity

Building a diverse behavioral health workforce is our top public health priority. The ARO Communications Portal is specifically designed to equip all levels on entry to assist and find solutions within populations typically underrepresented in the public health field. Eligibility Criteria In Other Professional Areas of ARO Available:

The ARO Communications Portal is available for everyone interested and experienced in:

  • Public health
  • Behavioral and social sciences
  • Public policy
  • Business communications
  • Business administration
  • Information technology
  • Or any other relevant discipline related to the Abuse Care Community

To qualify for an ARO position, applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident (I-151 or I-551). Individuals on temporary visas are not eligible. Additionally, individuals must be authorized or eligible to work in the United States by law.
  • It is not a requirement to be or become a resident of the United States if the Intern works under the laws of their own respective country(s) and is approved by ARO
  • Be enrolled and/or have a degree-seeking program (BA/BS, Masters, JD, MD, or Ph.D.) at an accredited higher education institution. Anyone pursuing only a credential or certificate program will be considered ineligible.
  • Have completed their freshman year of college before the internship begins
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

  • Work history
  • Zoom and/or in person Interviews, questionnaires, and resumes (COVID-19 Permitting)
  • Required documentation download and survey

Please Note: Should you apply and be eligible, you will be considered for all available ARO programs. Should you be interested in specifically working within a specialized field at ARO, you should clearly indicate this in your application essay.

Expectations

ARO strives to maintain a pleasant, efficient, and professional work environment that fosters cooperation and understanding. ARO‘s workplace policies are designed to create an environment where all staff, including interns and members of the public, are treated respectfully and with consideration.

All staff, including interns and some volunteers work up to 40 hours a week but not necessarily (As determined by their Supervisor and heir agreement with ARO), fulfill their assigned tasks, present a professional appearance at all times, and behave in a manner that will not discredit Abuse Refuge Org.

All employees, contracted professionals, clinicians and any paid position will work on a negotiated basis according to their agreement with ARO.

*ARO may release, drop, remove or terminate anyone from any position at anytime because of security issues, poor performance reasons or misconduct. This clause is plainly stated in all agreements and policies relating to all things ARO.
